— TRAFFIC ALERT —

Significant traffic impacts related to construction at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Hawthorne Boulevard beginning Thursday, May 19 through October 2022: 

Thursday, May 19 – 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

• Through lanes will be temporarily reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions.
• Right-turn from NB Hawthorne Blvd to EB PCH will be prohibited.

Friday, May 20 at 8:00 PM through Sunday, May 22 at 10:00 AM

•  Traffic signal will be in flashing red mode.
• Through lanes will be temporarily reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions.
• Left-turns will be prohibited in all directions.
• Torrance PD will be directing traffic on Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 8 AM to 10 AM.

Sunday, May 22 through October 2022

• Through lanes will be reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions.
• Left-turns from NB and SB Hawthorne Blvd to will be reduced from 2 lanes to 1 lane.

Message boards are deployed in all directions to inform drivers of the significant traffic impacts. Alternate routes are recommended.
