Phase 2 Weekend Work and Phase 3 Switchover
Lane closures and area of work for the next phase of construction.
Date of Notice: September 17, 2022
Friday, September 16, 8:00 PM through Monday, September 19, 5:00 AM – Phase 2 Weekend Work
- Through traffic will be reduced from 3 lanes to 1 lane in all directions
- Left- and right-turns will be prohibited in all directions
- Access to Neece Ave north of PCH will be prohibited
Friday, September 23, 8:00 PM through Monday, September 26, 5:00 AM – Phase 3 Switch Over
- Through traffic will be reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions
- Traffic signal will be on 4-way flashing RED mode
- Torrance Police Department will assist with directing traffic
Ongoing through October 2022
- Through lanes reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in all directions
- Left turns from NB and SB Hawthorne Blvd reduced from 2 lanes to 1 lane
